The nature on the peninsula in the Atlantic ocean.
Snæfellsnes is a 90 km long peninsula, 10 to 27 km across. Along the middle there is a mountain range and a majestic glacier on the end. On either side of the mountains you will find friendly towns and villages, a multitude of bird species nesting on treacherous cliffs, beaches of sand and pebbles, remnants and relics scattered here and there of times and ways of life long past.
Langaholt is located on the south coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, embraced by fantastic nature.
Around the glacier Snæfellsjökull is a National Park with gems such as: Svalþúfa, Djúpalónssandur, Öndverðarnes and Vatnshellir Cave.
