Golf course – Garðavöllur

Around Langaholt there is a 9-hole golf course designed as a traditional links golf course, all built on sandy soil by the seaside that gives it its special character. The golf course is par 35.

Embrace nature

Langaholt is in the heart of Snæfellsnes, surrounded by natural wonders. The waves of Faxaflói bow on the golden sand to a gracious row of mountains, each with its own distinguished peak. In the west the glacier Snæfellsjökull stands guard. 

The golden beach at Ytri – Garðar

The beach is a long yellow coast line in five minutes walking distance from Langaholt. Here you can find beautiful stones and pebbles while enjoying watching the wildlife. The beach is an endless source of games and adventures.

Walking around

One can take a walk along the beach eastward to Ytri Tunga, a popular viewing point for seals (approximately 3 km or about 80 minutes walk).  It is also possible to walk to Búðir in the west (about 10 km). If not that sportive, one can just stroll around the property and enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains and the ocean. 

Swimming pool

The swimming pool Lýsuhólslaug is 6 km from Langaholt. It contains warm (temperature 24-39°C), naturally carbonated, geothermal water. The water is rich in minerals and is said to be healthy and healing. It is open every day during summer, further information on opening hours at the reception.
